Located on the Red Sea Coast of Saudi Arabia, this project is to control noise from the intake and blowoff of the generator set in the power plant. Due to strong wind and sand on the site, filtering and noise reduction functions are required for the intake equipment. A filter cylinder is installed in the intake chamber with a filtering accuracy of 5μm. Moreover, a plate type silencer is arranged in the sound-absorbing section with a sound-absorbing capacity higher than 25dB (A); the intake filter silencer of the set is equipped with an automatic pulse back-blowing function and achieve the automatic cleaning function after the filter cartridge is blocked; the blow-off silencer of the set is a broadband silencer, inside which a flame arrester is installed. Its surface temperature is less than 60℃ and its noise reduction capacity is higher than 40dB (A).
